The difference between journalism and blogging is in both the content and the writer. Good journalism voices no opinion, writes in he-said-she-said passages and fact checks every letter of every word of every sentence. Blogs are written from bed.
Journalists are savage, putting themselves and their dignity on the line in the name of truth. They consume endless stories of wretch and misery every day, but they still must dive deeper for the good of the community. Bloggers journal about their adventures.
And people wonder why I’m not a reporter.
These pages are devoted to the places I’ve visited, the sites I’ve seen and the people I experienced there.
